Delete your SpecNest workspace

SpecNest has no separate password account or project database. Your SpecNest workspace is the “SpecNest Engineering Data” spreadsheet in your Google Drive plus the sign-in state stored in your browser.

Delete it inside SpecNest

1. Sign in to SpecNest.
2. Open any project and find the bottom of the left sidebar.
3. Select Delete SpecNest workspace and confirm the permanent deletion.

This deletes the Google Sheet and all projects, systems, requirements, parameters, tests, approvals, audit events, notes, and revision snapshots in it. It also signs you out and clears SpecNest's local browser session.

Delete it manually

1. In Google Drive, permanently delete the spreadsheet named SpecNest Engineering Data.
2. Open your Google Account's third-party connections and revoke SpecNest's access.
3. Clear site data for specnest.site in each browser you used.

Need help?

Email specnest.tool@gmail.com from the Google account involved. Because SpecNest does not hold a separate copy of the workbook, we cannot recover it after deletion.
